Deviation Actions
...For every deviation I submit in 2013, I have to delete something from scraps or move something from my main gallery to scraps...?
Assuming I submit a lot of art this year (which I hope to be able to do), that would be a great way of weeding out the stuff that I look back on and really think wasn't so great.
Unfortunately, that would mean deleting some things that got a pretty good reception considering how actively I DIDN'T try to gain exposure for them, but the fact is: even though those things were cute or funny, they still weren't really WELL done, and I would prefer that the work I'm known for is good work.
We'll see how this goes. First I have to start submitting for-realsies art again.

Fall Cleaning
I *think* I now have the deviations in my gallery properly sorted in their folders. I'm also thinking about adding a new folder specifically for ponies. Since they seem to show up a lot lately.
A bunch of stuff has been deleted because I don't like it anymore. There are a few more things I would like to delete, but I'm going to hold off on them for the moment.
Back to School
Anyone else hear this phrase and immediately think of that scene in Billy Madison, when Billy is standing at the bus stop singing to himself? no? maybe I am just crazy then :D
Most of my work over the summer was not actually "work" more like amusing and somewhat crappy little comic strips in which i explore the secret (i.e. made up) lives of various folk.
But now I am back in school, where it's Super Serious Business all the time, and I'm hoping the seriousness of the business will rub off on my art and i will actually produce something that under normal circumstances can be considered "art" and not just "brain crack." dunno yet what *exact
Spring Cleaning
so, here's the deal: there's a lot of crap here, and it really doesn't need to be here, so i'm getting rid of it. that's right, deleting. not moving to scraps, deleting. as i go through my gallery and trash what really ought to be trashed, my gallery will get pretty small pretty quick.
if you've favorited something of mine and don't want to lose it forever, you had might as well download it now, because it might be gone by tomorrow or next week.
things i know are going to get trashed:
some of the demotivational posters (the lame ones or ones that no one gets)
most of my desktop-dimension type pictures
food art pics...
and anything else
I've Been Lame...
by not updating in a really long time (it feels like). i have done art stuff, drawing and sewing and such, but i just haven't uploaded anything. i have an excuse for not posting pics of my sewing projects, because i don't have any acceptable pictures of them yet, but i have absolutely no excuse not to upload my drawings. hmm, maybe i should do that later. thing is, they're drawings of this rock band that formed in my mind one night. and until i've named the band, i don't want to upload pics of it...
i will, however, keep my mind occupied by continuing to draw them! :)
they're so cute. i would hug them if they were, you know, real.
PS, yest
